This Privacy Policy explains how DispoNexus ("DispoNexus," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and platform (the "Service"), whether you use it as a listing partner, an investor, or a lender.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Name, email address, password (stored securely via our authentication provider, never in plain text), and account type (listing partner staff, investor, or lender).
- Business information. For listing partners: organization name, branding, and custom domain settings. For investors and lenders: buy box or lending criteria (property types, states, price ranges, loan terms).
- Deal and listing information. Property details, pricing, photos, and other information a listing partner submits when creating or publishing a listing.
- Financing application information. When an investor applies for financing through the Service, we collect the information and documents they submit to lenders as part of that application. This may include financial details you consider sensitive — treat it accordingly when deciding what to submit.
- Activity information. Offers submitted, listings viewed or saved, searches saved, and similar interactions we use to power matching, reputation scores, and analytics.
- Device and push notification information. If you use our mobile app, we collect a device push token so we can deliver notifications you've opted into (for example, a funding approval on a deal you're involved in).
- Social media connection information. If a listing partner organization connects a Facebook Page, we store the Page's ID, name, and an access token issued by Facebook so the Service can post listings on that organization's behalf. We never receive your Facebook password, and the connection can be removed at any time from Settings.
- Cookies. We use a minimal set of essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the Service, including matching buyers, investors, and lenders to deals;
- Send transactional communications, such as match alerts, invitations, and status updates on offers or financing applications;
- Send push notifications you've opted into through our mobile app;
- Post listings to a connected Facebook Page, if a listing partner organization has enabled that feature;
- Compute reputation and reliability scores from real activity on the platform;
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service; and
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- As the Service is designed to work. A published listing, along with the listing partner organization's name and branding, is visible to the public. Offers, financing applications, and funding proposals are shared with the specific counterparties involved in that deal (for example, a listing partner sees offers submitted on their own listings; a lender sees applications submitted to them).
- With service providers who host, secure, and operate the Service on our behalf — including our database and authentication provider, hosting provider, transactional email provider, and (for mobile push notifications) our push notification provider. These providers are only permitted to use your information to provide services to us.
- With Meta/Facebook, only if and when a listing partner organization chooses to connect a Facebook Page, and only to the extent needed to publish that organization's own listings to that Page.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DispoNexus, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and deal information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
5. Your Rights and Choices
- You can access and update most of your own information directly within the Service.
- You can disconnect a linked Facebook Page at any time from Settings.
- You can unsubscribe from non-essential email alerts using the link in those emails.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated personal information by contacting us at the address below, subject to information we're required to retain for legal or legitimate business reasons (for example, records of a completed transaction).
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls that restrict data to the organizations and individuals who are supposed to see it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Where We Process Data
Our infrastructure providers are based in and process data primarily within the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
